Purpose and Scope: Maintain a $4M+ inventory of over 3,000 electronic and electrical-mechanical components, including power supplies, AC/DC coverts and filters. Manage hardware, gaskets, overlays, and labels.

Organizational Impact Contributions:

Secured 85% of all fasteners on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program at point of use, making all hardware expenses and eliminating receiving / stock-to-floor transactions and A/P issues. Efforts achieved a $22K savings.

Reduced fastener suppliers to single source. Effort leveraged cost reductions and cost avoidance of 9% on PEM fasteners over a 12 month period, and reduced overall fasteners spending by $3.5K.
