Professional experience:
Owned and operated two private practices in California from 1990 to year 2000.
Associate for Dr. Saul Cepeda in San Jose, CA, Mondays for 6 years. All Spanish speaking patients.
August 2000 to May 2003: Employee for chain store in Kahului, Hawaii. This business changed hands to Dr. Stefan Bournakle.
May 2003 to Feb 2004 Reason for termination, employer deceased, practice sold.
Other employers on Maui included: Dr Ichyama-Kong, Dr. Chai-Fernandez, and Dr. Jeffrey Guild.
All practices were family oriented with many contact lens patients, and fairly fast paced practices. I fit quite a few patients with soft and or toric contacts that were told by other doctors that "they couldn't
wear contacts."
November 2003 to present: General optometry, fill in as well as Real estate investing, house renovation, rental management and sales of personal real estate.
May 2005 to 2007 National Vision contract in Puyallup Wa. Saw patients and managed private practice.
