Computer Systems Technology, Inc. (CST), Huntsville, Alabama. Serving as Team Leader and Senior Web Developer responsible for Internet, intranet, and extranet web development on the Logistics Integrated Database (LIDB) and projects for the U.S. Army Logistics Support Activity using Coldfusion, Powerbuilder, J2SE and J2EE compliant middleware and application server tools. Primary emphasis is on web-enabling legacy/mainframe logistics applications by means of migrating data into Oracle and providing for strong communication between the web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Oracle by means of middleware application sever scripting such as Cold Fusion, and soon, J2EE-compliant Java Server Pages (JSP), XHTML, and other XML-compliant technologies. Provide guidance and support to other programmers in web modeling, program debugging and web concepts in order to streamline the LIDB/WebLOG programming process. Frequently communicate with functional personnel on requirements, feasibility and applicability of current and future web-enabled applications. Conduct occasional classes and tutorials on HTML and introductory and advanced web development concepts. Web-enabled applications nearing completion or recently completed include Unique Item Tracking (UIT); Sets, Kits, and Outfits (SKO); Single Stock Fund (SSF); Virtual Transportation System (VTS); LOGSA-wide Password Synchronization effort and Log911. Frequently used: ColdFusion 4.5, J2EE, Visual Caf 4, JavaScript, CSS, Dreamweaver, Oracle 7.3, 8i and 9i, SQL, Powerbuilder 6 and 7, PVCS Version Manager, and SQL Plus.
