Digital Print Manager
Summary
I have been working in the printing industry for over a decade in capacities ranging from delivery, bindery, design, digital production, customer service and account management. I enjoy working directly with customers above all and I would like to help you in any way that I can.
Experience
Wagner Printing Company dba InfoComm Print & LaShore Press, Chicago, IL 2007 to 2012
I.T. Systems Administrator
One of the top prepress companies in the world. I was hired as a computer operator and ended up managing all of their razor's edge toys.
InfoComm utilized a bevy of digital and conventional printing equipment in multiple geographic locations which were all coordinated through my ad hoc systems.
Merlin to Free PBX (open source) crossover.
Launched a successful PURL campaign.
MIS guru from reception to fulfillment.
Rohner Letterpress & Digital, Chicago, IL 2006 to 2007
Seasonal Odd Jobs
The Rohner brothers needed a little help over the holidays, and I was happy to oblige. My duties mostly involved quality control, but I was able to show off my warehousing, bindery and large format skills.
Copy-Mor, Inc., Chicago, IL 2006 to 2006
Account Manager
A division of Consolidated Graphics (CGX/CMI). I was the manager of a same day fulfillment account from order reception through production to billing.
Organized a disparate wealth of existing customer files into a web searchable archive.
Close customer interaction, instant typesetting miracles and utilization of a world class team of a half dozen production and shipping personnel.
Cirrus Visual Communication, Tucson, AZ 2002 to 2006
Digital Coordinator
A prominent local graphic design company. I was manager of color and B&W copying and scanning, large format printing, mounting and framing, post press and bindery, CD/Media production, digital file conversion & preflight and assistant I.T. systems administration.
I grew along with Cirrus from courier to manager and the company's size and earnings increased along with my advancement.
My greatest asset to the company seemed to be my intuitive knack for new computer systems including our crossover from an analog to a digital phone system.
My rapport with the production staff enabled me to fulfill any task set by my employers.
Alphagraphics #9, Tucson, AZ 2000 to 2002
Bindery/Delivery
I began as a courier and ended up managing a bindery staff of 3 people.
My largest single contribution was the deployment of the FedEx Ship Manager which drastically reduced shipping time and packaging costs.
