Responsible for all phases of Smugglers' environmental
regulatory compliance. Wrote regulatory permit applications,
including without limitation Act 250, Subdivision and Water
Supply/Wastewater Disposal permits. Responsible for
compliance with environmental reporting requirements.
Oversaw all phases of resort hazardous waste management-
policy formulation, personnel training, compliance
monitoring and in-house enforcement. Extensive contact with
State regulatory authorities. Developed and managed waste
recycling/reuse programs. Instrumental in Smugglers' being
awarded the Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence
in Pollution Prevention in 1998. Implemented the first
resort industry construction scrap re-use program.
Coordinated other resort wide re-use and recycling programs.
Chairman, Cambridge Planning Commission, Cambridge,
Vermont., 2002-2006. Chaired meetings and hearings. Oversaw
preparation of Town Development Plan and Subdivision
Regulations for the Town and Village of Cambridge.
Represented the Town as statutory party in Act 250
proceedings before the District 5 Environmental Commission;
prepared memoranda of law fact in connection therewith.
