2008-2009 SM, Fulfillment & Repair with different logistics modes /SCM portfolios services: Configuration to Order / Turn Key/ Consigned/ Buy-Sell Mode

Market segments : Communication consumer products and Industrial .,with customers such as Panasonic, IBM, Tyco security, Microsoft, among others.

Initial assigned project was to establish and lead the needed controls, communication and strategies to recover Panasonics account,from being in the last position of the suppliers score card, very close to lose this global account. The communication, collaborations channels, strategies and controls were successfully defined and implemented,in such time and way, that helped the customer to met critical sales targets for their high sales season, being positioned afterwards as the supplier of choice for new product Introduction as well. The collaboration on this project set up the basis for a partnership relation, helping the customer to identify and worked on the opportunities in his processes as well. Working with multi

Not only relationship and customers scorecard were improved, we also have a positive impact for cash flow, by increasing the annual Inventory turns from barely 6 to over 26, and accounts payable were current, Improved warehouse efficiency and Inventory accuracy increased to 99%, by implementing the Warehouse SAP module in both sites.

SCM Strategies and business in both sites in Czech Republic managed different portfolios types, going from High mix low volume for security industrial products, to high volume low mix, consumer products, to fulfillment for communications consumers products, having to set different demand supply strategies to meet customers and company targets. Customer scorecards were positively influenced by these.

Our people satisfaction score for annual survey performed by corporate was improved over 10% from previous SCM management.

SCM solutions and controls over a complex SCM business controls turn around for this Mega Site, to go back on control at the same time servicing 14 customers with different portfolios complexity ( Aerospace Consumer, Communications,Industrial etc), getting back the confident of share holders,customers, board of directors and from our own people.

Yearly revenue of $1.3B illion US dollars, .6,000 employees, working 24 hours /7 days per week, serving .14 customers accounts :such as Panasonic, Honeywell, Avaya, Alcatel, Lucent, RIM,CISCO, etc.

2006 - 2007 SMT & Fulfillment : SCM portofolios services to support different business modes : from Configuration to Order,Fulfillment, Consumers Products, etc, supporting high mix/low volume and high volume /low mix

Driving the overall SCM improvement in a Mega Site which was severely impacted by multiple and simultaneous customers accounts transfers from other Celesticas North Americas sites to this Site, causing a total out of control operation .

Worked with corporate in a Master plan called Pegasso, for which I was appointed as the SCM leader, This project was focused on putting the Site back on control and setting up the foundation for a solid growth and results. This was a project leaded by the Global VP of Operations

Some of the strategies used were, disciplined Demand-Supply process, set up inventory controls to improved inventory accuracy, which went from almost none to 98.5% consistently, Key Performance Indicators implementation, connecting processes and teams to stream the processes, communicating targets and progress on monthly communication meetings, successfully helped to go back on control and to meet high revenue levels with excellent customers scored card, passing successfully all control audits in 1 year.

Key factor was the definition and implementation of the : SCM certification program which certified all SCM personnel on, APICS, Serving Customer, Effective negotiations, Presentations and Communication skills, and Data Analysis /problem solving techniques among others .

Leading SCM Initiatives to launch a new facility, SCM processes, teams etc, and then after as the SCM Champion of the Initiative to convert the entire Factory from Build to Stock to Build to Order Site with deliveries within 24hrs from when customer entered the order to when this is shipped out., implementing the Distibution center operation . Working with Bell Labs from design to launching mass manufacturing

For this initiative was needed to work with the facility in Spain Dos Cantos site- to learn about the 3C model they have ( Capacity-Commonality and Consumption ), to support their Engineering to Order 3 months lead-time platforms, having to re-design and integrate this to support a High speed response time for Consumer products factories

This project was integrating all steps from design phase to support components communality usage among platforms /BOMS working with Bells Labs designers/designs, to all manufacturing / Supply chain flow processes to speed out the Output rate among all manufacturing platforms ( SMT Mold injection, FA and Test, to Distribution center-

Team members were integrated by Marketing, Bell Labs, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, IT/SAP, etc,,working with PRTM Management Consulting Firm. and main Executives in the Corporation.
