OBJECTIVE: Seeking a mixed signal/RF engineer position.

SKILLS:

RF IC design: Design and simulate 65 nm integrated CMOS Power Amplifier (PA) and investigating Doherty PA. Design, layout and optimize the inductor design to achieve high Quality Factor on the Agilent ADS and Momentum.

Spectrum analysis: Analyzed the spectrum of the Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizer (DDFS) on the Master s thesis.

Lab equipment and Testing: Tested wireless power transfer using a Network Analyzer. Tested, analyzed and troubleshot transistor characteristics, filters and logic gates with oscilloscope, signal generator and DVOM meter.

Knowledge of RF theory and component: Smith Chart, VSWR, Harmonic Balance (HB), Return loss, Gain, S-parameter, phase noise, Phase locked loop (PLL), Power Amplifier (PA), Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), Automatic Gain Control (AGC), mixer, oscillator and filters.

Knowledge of Microelectronics: MOSFET and BJT.

Knowledge of Signal processing.

PSpice: Designed and simulated a band-gap voltage regulator which contains amplifier, rectifier and thermal protection, using PSpice.

PCB board: Designed and soldered a waveform generator and troubleshot its functionality.

Synopsys EDA design tool (Cosmos, Hercules and HSPICE): Designed the schematic and the layout of a ring oscillator.

VHDL: Designed and simulated multiplier, sequence recognizer and cache memory in VHDL on Xilinx ISE tool and ModelSim.

ASIC design: Altera s ASIC design tool (Nios II and QUARTUS II).

Embedded Firmware design: Experienced in using Altera s Nios II.

Microprocessor program: Logical troubleshooter making the Intelligent Motion System (IMS) operate and programming microprocessor language.

Computer communication network: Ethereal, DNS, routing, ATM, Frame Relay, TCP/IP and SONET.

Automation program: Proficient in automation programming on PERL platform; proven track record of programming laser inscribing lines for annealing and etching process of Photovoltaic (PV) cell.

Semiconductor equipment: Supported in developing complex semiconductor equipments, which requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical and software fields.

Software: ADS, PERL, MATLAB, C++, Orcad Capture, PSPICE, VHDL, Synopsys, Alliance CAD tool, HSPICE.

FPGA: Created FPGA-based Co-Processors for DSPs using Model Based Techniques (XILINX hands-on training workshop).

Modeling and Optimization: Parametric and Optimal Design of Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) on the MatLab.

Audited Quantum laser optic and Plasma physics.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE:
