MEMORANDUM FOR Pre-Warrior Leader Course (WLC) Students, Class 10-001, 30APR-2MAY 2010
SUBJECT: Welcome letter for Pre-WLC
1. Congratulations on your selection to attend the Pre-WLC training course. This weekend course will give you a
brief overview of WLC and provide you with the skills necessary to be successful in WLC.
2. The following general information is provided:
a. Training Dates: 30 APR, 1-2 MAY 2010
b. Reporting Time: NLT 1800, 30 APR 2010
c. Location: RTI, Building #16 DFAC, Camp Keyes, Augusta, Maine
d. Uniform: IPFU for In-processing, Classroom Uniform: ACU S OR BDU S
e. Quarters: Barracks or Home of record (Reservations required for Military Lodging at 626-4219)
f. Mess: Provided (NO evening meal on Friday, 30 APR 2010)
g. Payroll: Responsibility of individual s unit of assignment.
3. In-process Procedure: You will be in IPFU for the weigh-in. Be prepared to change into ACU S OR BDU S
after In-processing. You will be assigned to Group A or B during in processing. The following documents will
be required at this time:
a. DA Form 705, APFT Scorecard showing a passing score within 12 months of start date of course. If
you have a permanent profile, bring a copy of your DA Form 3349.
b. Copy of orders if you are not on IDT status.
c. A completed TRADOC Form 350-18-2-R-E (pre-execution checklist) signed by the Unit Commander.
d. ID Card and ID Tags.
4. Attendance Requirements: Students must attend all scheduled training and successfully complete all
presentations in order to graduate. All students must meet height / weight requirements of AR 600-9. Haircuts
and uniforms must meet standards of AR 670-1.
