Coalition Advisor to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense January 2007 - January 2008

Joint Transition Team Headquarters-Iraq, International Zone, Iraq

U.S. Army Advisor to the Staff Brigadier General for Life Support to the Iraqi Armed Forces. Managed first contract solely executed by the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and developed the Statement of Work for next iteration of the contract. Contract contained 34 country sections divided between 14 Iraqi companies and one U.S. owned company responsible for supplying food, water and supplies to the Iraqi Armed Forces. As Advisor, exercised compliance oversight for all contractors throughout the country.

Designed integrated and interoperable training solutions for the Army's current and future forces. Developed and produced training support packages for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development Phase for the Future Combat System. Assisted in the development, procurement and fielding of the Improvised Explosive Device Effects Simulation with a value over $50 million dollars.

Handpicked by Company First Sergeant for the Battalion Scout Platoon. Selected to Battalion Scout Platoon upon successful completion of Scout Assessment Course. Successfully served in the Scout Platoon for over 19 months receiving the Air Assault Badge and Expert Infantry Badge. Commissioned in the Officer Candidate School, Ft. Benning, GA. Completed the Bradley Commander's Course and Air Borne School and became platoon leader 1st Platoon, Alpha Company, 2/18 IN, 3rd BDE IN (M). Handpicked as the 2/18 IN Scout Platoon Leader and, after 12 months, became the 2/18 IN S3 Battler Captain. During time served in 2/18 IN, participated in 4 BLUE FORCE and 2 OPFOR rotations at the National Training Center, Ft. Irwin, CA.
