Job History / Details:

I have a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, an equivalent Bachelor's degree in Religion, an Associates in Science, all with honors. I am perhaps overly fond of books, so a bookstore or library would be a good match, or any system where I would be keeping track of materials, printed or otherwise. I am strongest in positions requiring analytic work, or logic and reasoning. I have an extensive knowledge (far more than normal) of the Bible, and translate from Biblical Hebrew and Greek with an extensive reference library, and a deep knowledge of hymnody, although I would not require use of these talents in a job. I would say that I was a seeker and helper, at both tasks of which I more than carry my weight. In the right job helping, I would be worth more than what I would earn. I pastored for 17 years, so I generally have good people and consultant skills. I don't want to sell, nor directly survey, although I have a good ability in jobs that require correlation. I'm a bit weak in computer, but I tend to learn fast. I'm really, really tired of stocking shelves, and the heavy weights involved in that endeavor. I am not evangelistic in nature. I do not hide my religious side, but I likewise do not impose it on others. I'm always willing, however to answer questions.

I have worked for a number of retail outlets in my 66 years, as well as being in the Navy. I really don't want to have to go back to college to learn more about dead people and dead ideas.

I have held, at one time or another, the following positions:--shift manager, shift supervisor, task supervisor, and regular worker, equally adept by myself, or with others. In addition to stock clerk skills, I have done a lot of merchandise resets (which I have enjoyed as I was able to utilize my organizational skills).
