Foundation to receive $20,000 [for the Department of Tourism and Hospitality student and

Faculty initiatives] to enhance the Company s workforce diversity and link with minority-

serving higher education institutions, June 2005.

Assisted with and received a grant for $60,000 from the Fund for the Improvement of

Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) and the Human Resource Development Canada (HRDC) to

implement the conference on the Partnership for the Education of Future Global Business

Leaders, in Washington, D.C., fall 2001.

The Education and Mobility in International Business, the North American Consortium for

International Advancement (NACIA) a $209,000 grant from the U.S. Department of

Education. The NACIA Program is funded by the North American Mobility in Higher

Education of the government of Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The NACIA was

established to develop new initiatives that focused on curricula design, student/faculty

exchanges and research. [Participated in the implementation of the grant, February 2000]

Coauthored and received a grant for $2,200 from the Illinois Environmental Protection

Agency to develop and analyze an employee satisfaction survey (320 employees), October

provides a forum for discussion and decision-making on education issues. The Center for

Adult Learning and Educational Credentials is ACE adult learning unit. ACE Review

Teams, professionals from Academe & Business, conduct program/course evaluations of

non-collegiate sponsored instruction offered by private & public sector organizations, and

make college credit recommendations. These are published by ACE in annual national

Directories and are used by Registrar s at colleges and universities to determine transfer
