Represented Sciencenter in Communicating Climate Change (C3) project, a National Science
Foundation (NSF) project building capacity of science centers to engage the public in climate
science. Built significant relationships with researchers at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology
resulting in numerous conference presentations, additional grant funded partnerships, and a
pending publication.
Worked collaboratively with Ocean Bound! exhibit team, a National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Association (NOAA) $750,000 grant to create a traveling exhibition that
explores society s connections with watersheds. Developed activities related to behavior
modification around water usage and led formative evaluation of educational programming
to support exhibition. Assisted with overall exhibit design and content goals, label writing,
and prototype evaluation.
Developed, directed and managed ScienceWorks and Communicating Climate Change
Program Development
programs, two outreach projects that use science to address societal issues. Participated in
all aspects of front end, formative, and summative evaluation. Both programs are in Year 3
of programming and have been significantly expanded.

Member of a development team with researchers from Carnegie Mellon University for the
development of Cubelets, an educational robotics construction kit.
Performed initial prototype testing including formative and summative evaluation, cultivated
new relationships with community partners, and co authored SBIR Phase I and II proposals
