Summary of Qualifications

I am recently retired from the United States Postal Service, the last position I held was as the Postmaster of Liberty Lake, Washington. I have held several positions while employed with the Postal Service, positions which I believe fit well with the position for which I am now applying for.

I started my career with the Postal Service in September of 1983 as an LSM clerk and took an early retirement offer from the agency on July 31, 2012. Below are the positions I have held while employed with the USPS.

The positions I held within the USPS are Postmaster, Human Resource Specialist, Labor Relations Specialist, Acting Manager of Alternate Dispute Resolution and an EEO Investigator. All these positions require precise record keeping, organization and detailed note taking. As a Human Resourse Specialist I recruited for job openings, took care of all job bidding for the Spokane and Boise areas, processed retirements, disability retirements and all benefits and compensation for all employees assigned to my area. Some of these positions required extreme confidentiality, complex data input, extrensive tracking through Excel spreadsheets and a proficient knowledge of Outlook software. As an EEO investigator and ADR specialist I was required to be extremely detailed in all case files in order to present all facts to judges, unemployment hearings, arbitrations and grievance boards. I was able to maintain all these areas and received several commendations for my work. Working in all these positions required me to multitask on a consistent and daily basis.

During this time frame I completed my NTE detail with EEO Investigations and took

a detail into Labor Relations as a Labor Relations Specialist for approximately six (6) months.

Labor Relations Specialist Spokane District Office 2005 - 2009

During this time frame as a Labor Relations Specialist I served for approximately three (3)

months as the Acting Manager of Labor Relations through the District Closing.
