Manufactured trash compactors and side by side refrigerators, previously manufactured top mount, bottom mount and counter depth refrigeration, ice makers and freezers with a high volume of 2.1M refrigeration units in a 3 shift operation with a maximum of 5000 employees. Division was closed in June 2012.

Materials Expediter
* Responsibility for acquiring parts for a fast paced high volume manufacturing facility.
* Responsible for acquiring 70% of plant manufacturing parts to point of use.
* Work closely with manufacturing, local and out of town vendors to acquire and get parts to point of use in a timely manner using Lean and JIT principles.
* Keep current and accurate Bill of Material and model counts and accurate material counts.
* Scheduling local JIT trailers and local warehouse parts.

* Qualified to run and set up Weldmation and Teledyne Automated Deck and RWC Automated Cabinet for all top mount, bottom mount, side by side and counter depth models.
* Competent in Allen Bradley panel view set up and trouble shooting
* Basic Duties: Perform a variety of set up and change over functions including scheduling of product runs and change over and scheduling and set up of raw materials. Worked closely with tooling, maintenance and electrical personal in performing troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, break down and continual improvement of equipment. First part inspection buy out and hourly performance of quality checks and OEE data.
* Worked closely with assigned Engineers to monitor and develop plans to improve process on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
* Supervised outside contractors in accurately competing in a timely manner and run testing of retooling and programming of equipment.
* Responsible for developing, implementation and actual systematic training of new Technicians with a normal 3 year training plan to become proficient in all processes.
