Transportation Chief for Multi-Corps- Iraq/United States Forces-Iraq, July 2008-July 2010

Recognized subject matter expert who developed strategic and operational level transportation policies, programs, plans and procedures to sustain the combat readiness of over 130,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines across the full spectrum of military operations throughout the 167,000 square mile Iraq Joint Operations Area.

* Responsible for the development, socialization and approval, and then execution of the Theater transportation plan to move over three million pieces of equipment out of the country in support of Responsible Drawdown of Forces from Iraq.

* Restructured the entire Theater commercial and military transportation allocation system which resulted in the US Army's innovative use of new seaports in Jordan and Iraq.

* Significantly expanded strategic airlift operations at austere airfields across Iraq.

* Synchronized the transportation efforts from the tactical unit level through the strategic level with Central Command (CENTCOM) and Transportation Command (TRANSCOM).

Wartime Host Nation Support Branch Chief, Korea, June 06 - June 08

Directed the United States Forces Korea (USFK) Wartime Host Nation Support Program (WHNS) which involved the entire Korean penisula.

* Directly supervised a staff of 10 which included US and Korean National employees.

* Responsible for conducting bilateral negotiations with representatives of the Republic of Korea Ministry of National Defense resulting in the acquisition of wartime host nation military and civilian resources to support the reception, staging, onward movement, and sustainment of all US Forces in times of crisis or hostilities.

* Served as Advisor to the Army Chief of Staff, Joint Logistics General on WHNS policies, procedures and capabilities, forging WHNS Memorandum of Agreements between Korea and the United States.

Logistics Staff Officer, Pentagon, June 05 - June 06

Headquarters Department of the Army, G4.

Served as Headquarters Department of the Army, G-4 Staff Action Officer responsible for assisting in the development and management of the deployment infrastructure program within Army Power Projection Program (AP3) to include serving as the manager for the Army Allocation of Funds for Deployment Infrastructure.

* Developed the FY 08-13 Program Objective Memorandum for the AP3 Strategic Deployment Outload Infrastructure by defining over $750 million work of infrastructure requirements across the US.

* Served as the G-4 lead on several highly visible strategic studies: Baseline Deployment Study Phase IV, Mobility Capabilities Study 2005 and the Intra-Theater Lift Capabilities Study that directly impacted all Forces of the United States.

* Assigned as the Army G-4's single point of contact for the new FORSCOM Power Generation Platform/Power Generation Support Platform concept, resulting in millions of dollars of deployment infrastructure construction being approved by congress.

Office of The Secretary of Defense (OSD) Fellowship / Executive Officer, Pentagon, June 2004- Jun 2005

OSD Fellow and Executive Officer for the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Transportation Policy).

* Coordinated with Joint Staff, Congressional staff members, the Military Services, Government Auditing Office, and other Federal Agencies to ensure professional and thorough vetting of all air, surface and ocean transportation policy issues.

* Active participate in the initial planning and coordination of the Defense Transportation Coordination Initiative (DTCI), a program that transformed DoD CONUS freight movements.

* Key member of the Active Performance Management (APM) implementation team. My work contributed to over 50% reduction in the time required for the expeditious clearing of DoD cargo frustrated at aerial ports of embarkation.

Battalion Executive Officer for the 25th Transportation Battalion, South Korea

* Responsible for all support of the battalion with 181 US and Korean military and civilian personnel assigned to 19 operational locations covering 1000 miles throughout the peninsula.
