I studied architecture at University College Dublin obtaining an honours degree in 2007, subsequently joining Paul Keogh Architects and working on several prestigious commissions including the Phibsborough / Mountjoy Local Area Plan and St Cronan s National School.
As Project Architect on the Phibsborough / Mountjoy Local Area Plan I co-ordinated a team of more than forty consultants in the delivery of the first Local Area Plan to be enacted by Dublin City Council. The plan subsequently won the Irish Planning Institute s Achievement in Planning Award 2010 and is widely cited as an exemplar in the preparation of Local Area Plans.
Since September 2011 I have been working with McCullough Mulvin Architects on a variety of projects in the education, research and conservation sectors.
I have also previously worked with Dermot and Sean Merry Architects and HKR Architects.
I was delighted to be commended in the Deirdre O Connor Medal for results in the RIAI Examination in Professional Practice 2009/2010.
I have received extensive site experience, conducting effective meetings and leading large teams to achieve a coherent result on time and on budget.
In representing complex three-dimensional concepts and buildings as drawings and images, I have developed a keen interest and skill in graphic design and I am extremely proficient in a wide range of CAD, graphic and design programs on both Mac and Windows platforms.
