Omniscient Search - Distributed Web Search Engine Apr 2012 May 2012

A web search engine developed using Java EE platform consisting of a free pastry based Mercator-style

distributed crawler, hadoop based indexer and page rank engine. Crawled over 116,000 pages, hosted the

system on 10 nodes of Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute and provided support for phrase search.

This project received an honorable mention on the Internet and Web Systems course web page.

Android Controlled Robotic Car Mar 2012 Apr 2012

A robotic car with an Arduino board that can be controlled by an android phone via bluetooth. Features like motion

control, anti-collission, automatic roaming, distance from obstacles were provided.

Distributed Chat Mar 2012 Apr 2012

A fully distributed group chat system written in C++. Implemented a fully-ordered multicast protocol on top of UDP.
