Director, Office of County Inspections and Services (2012 to Present)

Directed the day-to-day operations of the Office of County Inspections and Services, overseeing regulatory review of the county inspection process and enforcing compliance with regulations. Developed policies procedures and regulations and created and conducted trainings.

Key Accomplishments:

Inspected all 62 county jails as required by the PA Code, Chapter 95 to ensure compliance with regulations as laid out in Subchapter B.

Ensured compliance with the Corrections Reform package and other acts and amendments including Act 122, Act 84 and Title 37.

Investigated the care and custody of inmates, physical plant development and maintenance, and rehabilitation and support programs to ensure that they complied with laws, polices and standards.

Corrections Evaluation Supervisor, Bureau of Community Corrections (2010-2011)

Managed operations for Community Corrections Centers, developing and revising policy and operating procedures that complied with American Correctional Association (ACA) national standards. Served as the Interim Supervisor of the Centralized Referral Specialist Unit. Administered grants.

Conducted internal control and quality assurance inspections of all state-owned Community Corrections Centers to assess operational efficiency and compliance.

Led a comprehensive compliance program to ensure all state-owned Community Corrections Centers and relevant contract facilities were in compliance and ready for audit.
