Presided over the Texas State Forests and Government Land Office (GLO)
property, as well as addressing the land needs of other State agencies.
Stepped forward to meet with adjoining landowners to explain land
management objectives and gain buy-in. Managed 150 staff in 23 district
offices over 54 counties.

Instrumental in saving human & animal lives while staunchly protecting

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Adjusted Agency to changing times by implementing procedures that
flexibly moved staff and equipment to areas of need, instead of tying
resources to fixed locations where they were not utilized.
* Promoted cooperation and "playing to their strengths" among staff,
