Professional Objective
After a two-year sabbatical from the academic and archaeological worlds to care for my terminally ill mother, I
am looking for a new and challenging role in which my diverse work experience and academic background can
excel. Having worked in textbook publishing at Garland Science (a division of Taylor & Francis Academic
Textbook Publishers) in the UK for almost three years, I returned to my home town in the US. Since returning,
I have worked as an Operations Analyst in the corporate world. I would welcome an opportunity to work in
any field related to archaeology, anthropology, environmental sciences, and/or a combination of the above with
education, outreach and community engagement.
I am eager to be given a chance to continue to develop my interest in education and publishing while furthering
my skills in maritime and terrestrial archaeology, professional diving and project management. I am eager to
be given a chance to continue to develop my life-long interest in archaeology, history, research, and academic
endeavor in my home country. I am confident that my enthusiasm, passion for learning and work commitment
would be an asset to any organization. I have experience in both commercial and academic environments and
am equally comfortable working in both.
