Summary of Qualifications- Experienced in research with community-based, government, and educational organizations to develop projects that maintain environmental quality while supplying needed natural resources. Undergraduate honors work at CU Boulder allowed integration of formal education with an original study on water quality. These experiences provided capabilities to further develop research and writing skills as well as analytical methods for identifying organic compounds. A summer internship at the Mountain Studies Institute, as well as courses at CU Boulder, developed skills in soil sciences, hydrology, and vegetative analysis, and use of Geographic Information Systems. The Colorado Division of Water Resources provided knowledge on water law in the West and the process of applying for and maintaining water rights, and the use of databases necessary to access water court cases.
