I am applying for an Electrical Maintenance Technician/Mechanic position. This is a
position that I know I will fit right into not only because of my skills set and many years of
experience in the electrical field but also due to my government work experience both in the
US Postal Service and the US Navy. I have a broad knowledge of the paperwork required for
work orders, ordering parts and the accounting of manhours. I am well trained in the area of
work environment safety.
I am an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the US Navy & US Navy Reserve. I served my
active duty aboard the USS Biddle CG-34 as an Interior Communications (IC) Electrician. I am
currently employed as an Electronic Technician by the US Postal Service but as of Jan. 31,2013
I will be retired. But that is not to say I am finished working, I am anxiously looking forward to
the next chapter of my working years. I have always been somewhat of a workaholic and have
accumulated a broad range of technical and trade skills that have been a big benefit to me in
