Owner Operator: Straight Shot Trucking Montgomery, TX 05/2010 to Present
As an owner operator I routinely transport very critical and necessary items to drilling rigs and all oil and
gas industries throughout the nation. Through the constant transportation of oilfield goods I have been
able to acquire and keep valuable contracts with ability to adapt to the customer needs through numerous
safety programs as well as keep great customer service.
Field Safety: NT (JM Premier) 01/2010 to 05/2010
As a Field Safety I was involved in the overseeing of safety in the field for employees and anyone who
was on location at any given time. I was responsible for fit for duty reviews each morning, ensuring that
all employees had done the proper inspections on all equipment, being involved with all safety meetings
including JSA’s and ensuring that everyone was on the same page as well as motivated to do the days
tasks accident free and in a timely manner while still keeping with in the policies. Trained, coached and

In this position I supervised two people who were in training. I have been through numerous training and
team building classes, trained, coached and mentored staff to ensure smooth adoption of new safety
programs. I operated a RCM cement mixing pump for one year and then was promoted to a supervisor
position where I implemented innovative programs to increase employee loyalty and reduce turnover.
Correctional Officer: Texas Department Of Corrections Lovelady, TX 09/2001 to
03/2005
I worked at the TDCJ Eastham Unit, I performed well in this capacity and was named one of five Field
Training Officers (FTO). As an FTO, I was responsible for safety training for all new officers at the unit.
After being an FTO I was promoted to a Sergeant where I managed approximately 300 people in a
typically un safe environment
