Project Details

Title: ONLINE SALES AND SERVICES (June2011 - Feb2012)

Role: Senior Test Engineer

Client: Nagarjuna Group

Environment: Visual Studio 2005, C#, ASP.NET for Web Services.

Description:

This application was developed to automate the sales and service procedures

for Nagarjuna group of companies. Sales Officers raises Sales Orders and

Warehouse Agents raises Delivery receipts against that Sales Order. They

would be able to track Port Operations, Railhead Operations and Warehouse

Operations.

This Software has Two Modules which are Sales Officer's Module and

Warehouse Agent's Module.

Sales Officer Module is a specialized module which has a key role to play

in this entire software.

This module helps to raise Sales Orders, to enter Payment Collections, to

view the status of orders and collections, to view the dealer credit terms

etc

Warehouse Agent Module helps to raise Delivery receipts, maintaining and

tracking of receiving and dispatching of stock, importing material from

different countries through vessels, deliver material from port to other

warehouses through rakes (rail) & trucks (road) Also keeps track of stock

position. Reports can be generated for Stock availability, Delivery,

Dispatch etc.

Responsibilities:

Description:

Travel Management System is an intranet Web Application build for NFCL

Employees to claim their Travel Programs and travel bills. This system

allows the Employees to enter their detailed Travel Schedule and submit a

travel request; this request will be automatically routed to the employee's

manager for approval using SMTP Service. The approver can approve or reject

the Travel request.

Responsibilities:

. Leading the QA team and coordinating with the client.

. Analysis of business requirements to develop the different use

cases together with the development team members

. Performed Estimation, Test Plan and review of Use cases

. Writing Test Scenarios and developing test data to cover the

different use cases

commissioning of machine tools, their re-installation, up-gradation and

retrofitting details. It also helps in maintaining the records about

preventive maintenance planning & schedule, breakdown maintenance details,

spare parts planning and inventory management. Based on the records in

database and information produced by flexible queries, appropriate decision

can be taken by the management for future course of actions.

Description:

The Primary Functionality of this application is to issue the electricity

bill to the consumer at the site. The meter readers carry the POS machines

that works based on the GPRS technology.

Consumer details are sent to the server through this machine, the bills are

calculated at the server and details are sent back to the server and the

bill is generated from the machine.

The data from the database is uploaded to the ftp server from which the

machine accesses the files. In the offline process the data is sent to the

machine through a serial port.

Responsibilities:

. Participated in Team meetings to understand the business requirements.

. Actively participated in knowledge transfer sessions to gain a

thorough understanding of different functionalities of the spot

billing system.
