POSITION: Design Package Lead / Senior Manager Design and Construction.

Doha International Airport, Major Base Maintenance Hangar 155,600 square

meter, Design/Build, Design Package Lead Architect support role in

construction project management, site representation, safety and quality

inspections, product review and approval, lead client and end user

interface meetings, lead design meetings, delivered the hangar, workshops,

automated warehouse, autoclave, generator and power distribution with five

supporting satellite buildings, security, hazardous storage, chiller plant,

aircraft wash facilities, remote run up area, ramp lighting, all utility

and taxiway interfaces,. Accelerated schedule, improved quality, supported

cost control efforts within contract specifications. Coordinated design

implementation of 240 client and end user changes within the construction

program. I successfully delivered project to All Works Complete. A project

five years in progress at my joining at 53 % complete to 95%; ready for

final punch listing, testing and commissioning, in thirteen months. I

provided research and technical presentations addressing the mediation and

resolution of change orders, claims for delay for 450 million QRS .reduced

by 90 million QRS through effective dispute resolution.

Doha International Airport, Central Catering Facility, 56,800 square meters

Design/Build Design Package Lead, This state of the art, 82,000 meals per

day facility. A four level vertically integrated project that is an

automated meal production facility with seven kitchens, 67 coolers, food

lab, cart wash and distribution, warehousing, boilers. Staff support

facilities and executive offices, Achieved full engineering resolution to

all design issues with concurrent construction program. As a

multinational team leader, resolved interfaces of utilities, implemented

life safety code conformance, coordination of services utilities, Control

Risk, full security system, fire risk and alarm sequencing, BMS, achieved a

complete design to Code and Contact. Successfully lead Engineering and

Construction team(s) to double construction monthly progress works

completed from start of 46% in a project that was 2008 to 2012 in progress

works to 94.5 % twelve (12) with two overlapping months in new project for

close out of mediation issues.

Doha International Airport, Flight Operations an flight Information Center.

22,600 square meters Design/Build as Design Package Lead. This state of

the art facility supports QAT central flight information facility with real

time world wide tracking and reporting of every aircraft, crew briefing and

baggage systems as well as senior management of the airlines operations. A

five star finish is in progress. The project has been extended due to

many client revisions to the works. I assisted in the progress of the works

from 21% to 63 % in eight months. Chaired the Baggage Handling System

delivery, and supported the Control Risk Security projects along with some

78 client directed changes requiring five change orders.
