field instrumentation used in refining process control systems. This instrumentation included flow,
temperature and pressure sensing transmitters, liquid and gas flow modulating valves. Responsibilities
also included air and water analyzer such as oxygen content (O2), hydrogen ion concentration (pH), and
water conductivity (Mho).
1997-present. PLC technician Citgo Refinery, Corpus Christi. Duties include programming, installing and
maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLC) and operator interfaces (HMI) used to control oil
refining processes. Brands and models of PLC include Allen-Bradley SLC-500, PLC-5, ControlLogix,
CompactLogix, Micrologix, Triconex Tricon and Trident. Brands and models of HMI include Allen-Bradley
PanelView and PanelView Plus, CTC and Siemens. Refinery processes that this equipment controlled
include gas compressors, boilers, compressed air systems, influent, effluent water treatment systems,
heaters and fluidized solids handling systems.

I hold an Associates in Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from Del Mar College,
Corpus Christi.
My employer sent me to a number of factory training classes as a PLC technician. They include training
in programming PLC-5 processors using RSLogix5 software, programming ControlLogix processors
using RSLogix5000 software, programming the PanelView Plus HMI using RSView Studio software and
configuring Allen-Bradley adjustable frequency drives using Drive Executive software.
The certificates shown below were given to me by my present employer. I include these as an indication
of what kind of employee I am beyond my skill set.
