Resume:

April **, ****

Dear Hiring Committee:

Please accept this letter and attached resume for the Physician Assistant position in Emergency Medicine. I am confident that my training and relevant experiences qualify me for the position and will guide me in a successful career. My goal in practice is to expand my medical knowledge and clinical skills to best serve my patients, the hospital, and the community as a whole.

I am currently a second year Physician Assistant student at The George Washington University and will be graduating in May 2013. I am very fortunate for this opportunity as well as my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My studies and training have been intense, rewarding, educational and, above all, have confirmed my passion for helping others. In addition to the rigors of classroom and clinical settings, I have been fortunate to engage in numerous community volunteer experiences. Collaborating with physicians as an athletic trainer, EMT, and medical assistant has strengthened my medical experience and given me an opportunity to make a difference in underserved populations. While at GWU, I have focused my studies in the areas of emergency medicine, critical care, and pediatrics. I am very interested in learning more about the physician assistant position, goals of the hospital, and how my strengths may be best utilized.

Thank you for considering me as a candidate for the physician assistant position. I am very excited to begin my career and hope that I have a chance to discuss my qualifications with you in further detail. Please include my name in your employment database and contact me at abq2h8@r.postjobfree.com or 608-***-**** with any questions. Thank you again for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Wendi Domaszek
