Managed company image through regular publication of its in-house journal “Ajasteel News”and
regular contact with the corporate stakeholders. Duties in this position included promoting and
sustaining the company’s reputation for excellent customer service among the steel industries’
publics. Relatively, I increased the readership and support bases of the journal from a relatively
low level forty per cent at my inception to ninety percent of the more than eight thousand staff
strong organization at my exit. Ensured efficient and effective media relations and protocol
activities. Led teams that conducted extensive PR and advertising research that solved most of
the company’s image problems and achieved greater national and international corporate
visibility for the steel industry through re-branding activities. Restored the company voice
system through which over seventy per cent of organizational/staff/ problems were solved
through management-employee dialogue. Issued press releases, organized special events
maintained a functional photo archives/library. Advised management on the use of Corporate
Social Responsibility(CSR) projects and thereby secured community/corporate stakeholders
