I have been teaching Nursing courses at Kaplan college now since
the end of September and absolutely love it. Education is my passion
and I feel so honored to be passing on my passion to new nursing
students and hopefully inspiring them to be great nurses. I initially was
teaching my specialty, OB/Peds, but my manager has helped me to
expand my teaching to Pharmacology and Med-Surg I clinical and I am
so thankful she believed in me and my ability to teach other subjects.

Neonatal Intensive Care
I have been in a charge nurse role for the past two years in the NICU. I
provide family centered nursing care to our patients in the Neonatal
Intensive Care. I work in collaboration with fellow nurses, physicians,
and respiratory therapists to achieve optimal outcomes for all of our
patients in the NICU.
I perform chart audits, pain assessment audits, and hand washing audits to
improve both awareness and scores with JACHO.
I am a STABLE instructor, teach the mandatory education for unit every
