During my tenure, I’ve ensured 99.9% on-time departure of the aircrafts (both domestic as
well as international), including peak and full flight capacity of up to 143 on -board
passengers, excluding crew.
Key responsibilities include:
Reporting to the station Operations Manager, served as Team Leader assuming the primary
responsibility for overall operations of ground handling function to ensure smooth execution of
required tasks, providing excellent services to the passengers, establishing & maintain good
working relationship with officials from various departments such as Customs, Immigrations,
Health, Airport Security & so forth. Within this role, I was tasked and accountable for the
following:
Duty Roaster: Plan and allocate manpower and other resources for the ground handling
operations by the way of scheduling duty roasters for a team of 41 personnel which include
11 traffic assistants and 30 loaders;
Check-in Counter Management: Oversight and coordination of the check-in processes
including passport verification, boarding pass issuance, ticket validation & verification,
baggage check-in, passenger relationship management and resolving issues;
RAMP Supervision: Ensuring that activities are performed as required, effectively and
efficiently;
General Declaration & Clearance: Coordinate with Customs, Immigration & Airlines officials
for Passenger travel confirmations/off-loadings-etc;
Management Reporting: Preparing relevant periodic reports to Head Office as well as other
agencies on flight handling details; and
Passenger Ticket Reservation: Also serving in the front-office unit from time to time and to
complement staff on-leave, for activities such as passenger ticket reservations, issuing of
