Fleet Matrix Measurement:

This system is used to validate and certify the members on the ship based on different parameters like on -board

experience, rank, ship types, etc. Also if they meet the norms set by visiting countries. This was done manually

before the system was designed.

I was involved in functionality requirement gathering, analysis, and design . PL/SQL procedures, Oracle Forms,

Oracle Reports were used for development. This system was proposed by me after observing the tedious tasks

being done with excel by users.

Chartering Operations Invoicing System (COINS):

“COINS” is the system used to calculate the cost of different ship operations to estimate & calculate the revenue

and invoice processing. It finds best commercial proposal available in the system for the given route.

Loading/unloading calculations are done to generate the net profitability.

I had to study “ShipNet” system to build more customizable system on similar lines. I was involved in

functionality requirement gathering, analysis, design and development.

Izone:

Izone is complete end to end HR system which provides employee insights into his own information (salary,

leave, reimbursement, etc.) and allows submitting HR related requests (travel, leave applications, etc).

I was involved in analysis, design, Task Scheduling, Task Assignment and Task tracking development and testing

of application. Development was done with .Net and PL-SQL procedures

Live Vessel Information System (LIVIS):

The application is one centralized point where in data is pulled from all systems built in ERP and can be referred

for the functioning of various business processes. The application provides accurate vessel position on the

Google maps. Analysis of Noon/Arrival/Departure reports based on various parameters like speed, consumption,

etc. is also a feature of the application.

I involved in requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. This was developed

with extensive PL/SQL procedures

Fleet Appraisal System:

Fleet Appraisal system is used for appraisal of senior and junior rank sailors. The method of appraisal differs

from across the ranks.

I was involved in requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.

Migration of Hummingbird to SharePoint

SharePoint was implemented as intranet portal and DMS for entire organization, Documents from old DMS were

transferred using an interface developed in VB.Net

Vessel Downtime System:

This system is used to track the downtime of the ship. This is used to generate MIS reports for management

meeting.
