Cooling line consists of four meter guage rail lines . There are four
loading stations for loading the pallets carrying poured moulds.
These pallets are pushed by hydraulic cylinder on to a transfer car .
Transfer car can be selected to stop at any of the 4 stations with OP 5 .
When transfer car reaches the selected loading station, Pallet with mould
is pushed into the cooling line where cooling takes place as the moulds
spend around 45 mins under suction created by 100 KW Blower motor . Then
transfer car returns to original position . Pushing of moulds is a
continuous process .
Responsibility : PROGRAMMING done for Transfer car control with pulses
received from Encoder .
