9. Able to maintain and update filing, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.

American Hotel and Lodging Association

1. Able to operate credit card machines and authorization modem, and key card machine.

2. Familiar with use of rooms, folio trays and voucher racks.

3. Trained with materials from The Hotel/Motel Lodging Association on front office operations such as, individual and

group reservations and the procedures for rooming a guest as well as cashiering procedures with regard to balancing the

cash drawer and common policies for credit card settlement.

4. Folio management is also within my expertise. I have experience with creating new folios, posting transactions, room

rates and taxes, posting transactions, room rates and taxes, posting transactions to the city ledger, posting transactions

to the advanced payment control account and the preparation of the end of the shift reports.

5. Able to allow procedures for fire drills and emergencies, as well as, the use of the hotel security systems.

6. Trained on the identification of personal health and safety hazard according to OSHA guidelines and the “Right to

Know” act.

7. Excellent customer service skills and able to work harmoniously with diverse races, sexes, ages and cultures.
