State Community College. Assist start- up companies and growing businesses with business plans
and financing from banks, government programs, and venture capitalist.
DIRECTOR – WOMEN'S BUSINESS CENTER – CHATTANOOGA, TN 2008-2011
Bright-Bridge is a non-profit that assists small companies in southeast Tennessee and northwest Georgia;
Responsible for the Women's Business Center's program that assists women owned businesses and
entrepreneurs, ranging from business start-up to business expansion.
PRESIDENT – CCCDFI & CHATTANOOGA NEIGHBORHOOD ENTERPRISE – CHATTANOOGA, TN 2005-2008
Served as key management as the Chattanooga city administration and made the decision to move the
Chattanooga Opportunity Fund from the Enterprise Center to this location; Was responsible for managing a
$4 million dollar small business fund and a $26 million dollar housing fund.

The new Chattanooga city administration chose to move the fund from Southeast Community Capital back to
a local non-profit for professional management; I was requested to take this fund and manage it for the City.

2005
Head of lending for a statewide loan program for entrepreneurs and small businesses; I managed a $7 million
dollar loan fund throughout the state; Set in place all of the policies and procedures to provide a stable,
successful non-profit loan program; Established a quality control program and provided leadership to move
the program forward.
MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT – NEIGHBORHOOD REINVESTMENT CORP. – CINCINNATI, OH 1997-2004
