Successfully owned and managed numerous franchise motels, i.e. Comfort Inns & Suites, Laquinta, Days Inn, Microtel etc. and non-

franchise motels with apartments. At Comfort inn in Boloingbrook, Illinois, as a general manager hired, trained and disciplined all

hotel staff. Initiated corrective action program, upgrade the motel to meet all franchise requirements within the corporation budget

and passed the franchise inspection which failed twice.

Provided leadership in oversee all aspects of property management in accordance with company mission statement, including

maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction and staff development with established quality standards.

Provided teamwork concept in motel accounting, maintenance, front desk and housekeeping operations to maintain the franchise

quality requirements, resulted in more customer satisfaction and higher revenue.

Initiated guest appreciation program in franchise motel to enhance customer satisfaction and resulted in more satisfied customers

and higher revenue.

Negotiate contracts in franchise motel with all corporate businesses, resulted in satisfied existing corporate business and added more

corporate accounts.

Managed on OEM and an after- market automotive specialty products (Bumper Guards, Hood Ornaments and Opera Lights)

manufacturing plant, responsibilities includes supervision, budget planning and quality control, contract negotiation, cost control,

purchasing, metal fabrication, plastics molding, production control, engineering design, and new product development.

Good understanding of SPC, TQM and ISO 9000 Quality Control procedures in plastic compounding, extruding and injection

molding processes.

Provided leadership role in plastics, rubber and vinyl tile manufacturing plants. Including process improvement, problem solving,

quality control, mold and die design, machine shop operation and safe work environment. This earned a Q1 quality award from Ford

and General Motors corporations.

Directed numerous professionals in formulating, compounding, extruding, new product development, quality control and product

testing departments in plastic processing and vinyl tile manufacturing plant.

Initiated team works and waste reduction concept to use 20% scrap in production, which reduced two million-pound scraps.

Served as a technical liaison between plastic manufacturing plants.

Trained numerous subordinates for products quality control, SPC and TQM process implementation in polystyrene plastic

manufacturing processes.

Delegated a professional in laboratory and updated all standard operating procedures.

Sourced new vendors and secured the better quality parts, which resulted in a 30% cost reduction.

Creative thinking and brainstorming earned a patent disclosure and new market expansion in R&D Laboratory.
