Developed a CAPEX project request for a tripper basket and coal bunker refurbishment to mitigate rocks and

other large materials from entering the unit coal feeders causing generation curtailments.

Suggested recommendations for work needed to replace bunker structural steel and new grizzles to replace the

tripper baskets.

Lube Oil Room Oil Spill Containment

Installed an entrance ramps and steps at each room doorway to increase

both room entrance floor heights such that the lube oil room secondary containment capacity is greater than 15,000

gallons of oil.

Facility Inspection and Management

Improved the Plant’s Dike Inspection Program to ensure proper scheduling and tracking of inspection activities.

Performed inspections of the sump and piping discharge outfall system in the CT (Combustion Turbine) yard,

including recommendations for repairs/upgrades to meet environmental compliance.

Administered general pipe hanger inspections and provided recommendations on their strength and integrity with

a UT (Ultrasonic Testing) Meter.

Performed inspections of the plant’s grating and stairways, and prepared Work Orders in MAXIMO to make

repairs and/or modifications to damages found.

Conducted repairs for a collapsed 24 inch corroded corrugated pipe and developed scope of work for shoring of

the duct bank, and excavation of earth work.

Performed routine soil inspections, sinkhole repairs, and soil remediation for disturbed wetlands.

Designed, and conducted work for the provision of a temporary storage location for a transformer during spring

outage.

Supervised asbestos removal program in compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations developed

by the Safety Officer.
