During my junior year, I assisted Dr. George G. Kelly on his research

project of preparing metallo porphyrins. I presented our findings at the

ACS Meeting in Miniature in Tampa Florida in 1966.

Began in May 1964 as a laboratory technician and promoted to chemist upon

graduation from Jacksonville University. Conducted research on various

Terpene compounds to prepare new desired products. Developed new

procedures for improvement of existing plant processes. Promoted to Sr.

chemist and directed work leading to 6 patents and numerous trade secrets.

Monitored plant procedures when problems occurred. Served as member on

product odor panel. Established various distillation and gas chromatograph

techniques in analyzing unknown compounds.

AWARDS Corporate Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement in 1976

and

again in 1985.
