Positions Held :
Hired as sales associate selling consumer electronics in March of 1981. Grew rapidly in product
knowledge of comsumer electronics, and began assisting other sales associates in sales and customer
service. Promoted to store manager in June of 1985. Continued in growth and knowledge of selling
and servicing the customer and sales staff.
Worked in that position until September of 1988. Promoted to
Customer service division in October of 1988, as technical and product advisor for customer service.
Became more involved in the repair of television and audio equipment while in this position. Assisted
service manager in processing, product repair for customer and store product needing repair.
Also involved in processing outside service request and tracking inventory.
Promoted to assistance service manager in October of 1991. In this position, was responsible for
assigning service techs. Schedules and routes. Also responsible that customer was compelely satisfied
with any problems with service, or repair, and performance of product. Also assisted in keeping track of
inventory in customer service division. In September of 1997, was appointed Interim service manager
of service department until July of 2000.
Served as assistance service manager of product repair from October 2000 though July of 2010.
Unfortunatly in August 2010, after over 62 years of sales and service, Ken Crane Home Entertainment
ceased operations due to economic difficulty.
