Technical skills:
Diagnose problems of various types of equipment by isolating systems to find problems. Welding/cutting with mig, plasma cutter, oxygen and acetylene torch, electrode, brazing and pipefitting. Pump repair, gas and diesel engine overhaul, hydraulic repairs on motors, pumps and hoses. Multitasking and prioritizing projects to get jobs completed to meet employer satisfaction.

Indian Creek golf club 2006- present
As equipment manager at the 36 hole facility I had to set a preventative maintenance program as well as start up a record keeping system for machinery. Including John Deere, Kubota,Toro, Ford, and Case tractors and mowing equipment. I also organized tasks for my assistant and responsible for all aspects of maintaining the shop and ensuring proper operation and safety of equipment.
Ridgeview Ranch golf club 2001-2006
Equipment manager performing repairs and preventive maintenance on golf industry mowing equipment. Primarily Jacobsen, John Deere, and Kubota. I was also responsible for machining cutting units and maintaining a good quality of cut on the golf course.
Shennandoah Crossings resort 1999-2001
Fleet mechanic responsible for maintaing and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment. Trash trucks, 6 housekeeping vans, 8 tractors, all golf course mowing equipment as well as machining cutting units. Also maintained records for P.M. and cost tracking older equipment.
Virginia Beach Dodge 1997-1999
Full line technician on four man team system. Performed all types of repairs to customer vehicles. As well as warranty work. ASE certified in brakes and steering and alignment. Also had air conditioning certification.
U.S. Navy 1993-1997
Machinist mate performing repairs on main engines, pumps, steam turbines, and hydraulic systems. Department was responsible for providing fresh water, electricity, and steam for propulsion. Crossed over to Hull Technician welding on pipes on board the U.S.S Enterprise and was part of a crew that piped in nuclear reactors during a four billion dollar overhaul.
In addition to my skills and work experience I am a self starter motivated individual that is reliable and constantly searching for ways to improve.
