Ninewa Province, and missions all through Iraq to the Saudi Arabian Border. My Brigade

was responsible for the Ninewa Province in northern Iraq, We conducted full spectrum

operations to neutralize al Qaeda in Iraq and irreconcilable elements to improve security,

stimulate economic growth and create enduring stability. In accordance with the Security

Agreement, We moved operations outside of cities and transitioned security primacy

within Mosul and Tal Afar to the Iraqi Security Forces. We continued to conduct

full spectrum operations outside of Mosul to prevent insurgents from using the Mosul Belts

as support zones to conduct attacks within the city, setting the conditions for Iraq's National

Elections. My responsibilities included. Detainee Operations receive and in process the

detainee. While upon receiving the detainee, I was responsible for having the appropriate

documents for in processing and signing over evidence. It was crucial to take account of

every bit of evidence that was being received. The duties of an evidence clerk include

preparing documents for the proper signing in and signing over, logging of all evidence.

Receiving evidence and sorting through the variety and importance of evidence. Logging in

the types of evidence and reporting any explosives to DOD, also informing MI of any

evidence that could be useful towards investigation I.e. identification cards, photos, cellular

devices, pagers, cd’s, tapes, etc. I would also search detainee according to regulations,

removing any jewelry, pens, anything that the detainees could potentially use to harm me or

other soldiers in the facility. I would have the detainees change into jumpsuit and collect

their clothing as evidence. When in processing I would also have to in process them into

the BATS system. Biometric automated tool set. I used the HIIDE to collect and match

fingerprints, iris images, facial photos and biographical contextual data of Persons of

Interest against an internal database, Scope. After completion of this I would escort the

detainees to holding facilities. My responsibilities also included search of each holding

facility, pulling alert security for MI interrogations, Security watch of interior and exterior of

facility and reporting any suspicious activity, Gate guard operations and vehicle searches

in entrance of facility. Part of working in the detention facility I participated in the release of

detainees back to the Iraqi government, which included preparing detainees for release

and the collection and signing over of evidence as well as providing security on rooftop as

a 249 SAW gunner on Tigris base in Mosul Iraq, where detainees are release back into

society. Other duties included, serving as a trail 50 Cal gunner pulls all day and or night

security on long strenuous missions protecting USAID personnel outside the wire along

with the Provincial Reconstruction Team.

to working the register at time of customer’s transactions answering phone calls and

orders as well as wanting to book cabins or boat docs. I was responsible for taking these

TRAINING

05/2006 TO 05/2006, while working at the animal clinic I was trained on strength and

assertiveness to effectively restrain patients and ensure the safety of clients and personnel.

I would Clean and straighten exam rooms to prepare for incoming patients. Spray

disinfectant on exam tables, wipe them clean, and dry them. Remove sources of offensive

odors empty trash if necessary. Check floors, walls, doors, and counters, and sweep or

clean them as needed to remove hair, body fluids, and dirt.

06/2007 to 08/31/2007, while in Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual training, I

attended general orientation and was issued Army uniforms. Basic Tactical training,followed by Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense, Landmine Defense and rappelling

at the confidence tower. I Learned about Army heritage and the Seven Army Core values. I

underwent the army physical fitness test to which helped determine my physical aptitude.

This physical fitness test was routinely administered to me throughout my enlistment period

to ensure that I was in top physical condition. I went through marksmanship and combat

training and learn to rappel at the Warrior Tower, I then accomplished a Tactical Foot

March, Basic Rifle Marksmanship, Engagement Skills and Situational Training Exercises,Field Training Exercises, Confidence Obstacle Course and the Tactical Foot March,I went

through White Phase where I Learning to Fire and learned to Conquer the Tower. White

phase was BRM, which was when I was practicing and qualifying for my M 16 .Basic Rifle

Marksmanship. I had 16 rounds to shoot off within those 16 rounds I had to group at least 6

rounds in a row. After becoming familiar with the use of automatic weapons and hand

grenades in U.S. Weapons training, I put my training to the test at the Night Infiltration

Course, U.S. Weapons Training (.50 Caliber M2), (Hand Grenades), (M136 AT 4),

(M240B Machine Gun), (M249 Machine Gun) Field Training Exercise 3 Tactical Foot

March 10KM and 15KM. Basic Combat Training has pushed my mind and body to new

Basic Combat Training, I Advanced to Individual Training (AIT) this is where I learned the

skills to perform my Army Job. In my training for becoming a military police soldier I was

required to complete 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training and on the job instruction in
