*/*/****

A big accomplished my Career of 23 years at a Division of Perkin Elmer. Hired in September of 1988 by Perkin Elmer at 77 Danbury Road Wilton CT, then they split 1989 Government Contracts sold to Hughes Aircraft a Division of General Motors now known as Goodrich in Danbury CT. In 1990 The Lithograph Division was sold to Silicon Valley Group of California we remained at 77 Danbury Road Wilton CT. After about 10 years ASML Inc one of the largest Manufacturers of Lithography Equipment purchased us. Have a wide Range of Experience in Manufacturing, Machine Operator, Fabrication, Inventory, and Maintenance. Earned a 2 yr Associates Degree in Engineering after High School and stared work as a Technician in Manufacturing 1988 worked in the same building for 23 yrs. Worked in a very cutting edge environment. The location and facility I worked in were the people and equipment for Infar-Red Defense Program and NASA Hubble Space Telescope, to Face Shields of Space Suits. Moving forward in a Factory Job in Manufacturing, Duties included Machine Operating of Vapor Deposition Chambers, (Optical Coating Equipment) Repair, Modification and Fabrication of Parts and Assemblies of such Equipment and other Complex Machinery. Ordering Consumables and Tracking Inventory, Documentation and Research and Development. Have great ability, Great eye for detail with a steady hand. Worked in many Departments in addition to Optical Coating worked in Mercury Arc Lamp Fabrication to Machine Shop and knowledge Working in a Chemical Lab from Metal Oxides and Fluorides (dielectrics) to Solvents, Acids and Compounds such as UV Curing Epoxy. Custom Assembly of Wire harnesses, Cabling, Pinning Mini-D connectors Hi-Voltage Cables ground shielding for New Equipment and Modification of old (retrofit upgrades). With many Supervisors coming and going there were even multiple years without a Supervisor. Then changes in management and structure made my position a difficult one, and slowly the Company was reconstructed and My position that was created by Supervisors and Engineering retiring and Technicians being Laid off was disassembled and given to others. I Multi-tasked as a Machine Operator and Maintenance/Repair ordering Consumables and replacement parts which I trained another to help me. Then ASML became top heavy and hired more Managers and Supervisors and put more and more policy and Corporate structure my job was slowly disassembled and I trained myself out of a job. Leaving to be an over paid Machine Operator and or over qualified I was then Laid off in May of 2011. The whole experience has taught me to improvise, be organized, inventory control, training others and people skills.
