of 50% reduction on inventory levels and improving cash flow by
almost $1M. As Black Belt, coordinated and consulted 10+ Project
Teams to put their projects together and assisting them identify KPIs
and calculate project savings.
. Lean Six Sigma Training - Internal certified trainer instructing LSP
(Lean Sigma Practitioner - Green Belt equivalent-40hrs), Lean Six
Sigma Awareness-2hrs, 5S, Kaizen, TPVR and Blue Belt (Project

. Client Profitability - Came up with a tool assisting Business and
Process owners to help allocating variable cost of solution centers

Director of Lean Six Sigma Deployment - Interim (August, 2009 - July, 2010)
Served as a single point source on Lean Six Sigma to all N.A. sites
w/reporting 3 Black Belts
Provided Lean Six Sigma consulting and training services to improve
operational, financial/business efficiencies.
Coordinated w/VP of Continuous Improvement and VP of N.A. Operations to
establish company's global strategies on Lean Six Sigma.
Participated in CI council, reviewing projects, monitoring KPIs, analyzing

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
. Performance Improvement - Played key role coordinating with regional
resources to bank $16M in projected savings for FY'10 which exceeds
corporate goal by $2.5M, as a result of 83 Continuous Improvement
projects, part of which are from reduction on direct labor cost of
22% and indirect labor cost of 9.5%. Besides, cash flow is improved
by 23.5%, mainly reducing inventory on hand and Accounts Receivable
is improved by 55%, reducing "day(s) sales outstanding" via
implementing TPVR projects.
. Project management - Lead and facilitate series of CI projects in 2
Sites in NA region to reduce direct labor, inventory levels and
increase revenue per square footage without negatively impacting
quality levels and customer satisfaction and saved $1,437K, which
also lead to replicating same methodology for 3 other sites saving
$1,292K annually.
. Business Process Reengineering - Established a new method supported
by monthly KPI metrics to monitor WH activities to reduce related
direct labor cost, which drove 12% reduction after related CI
projects.
. Training and Rewards - Arranged a session for LSP training to train
22 individuals and a session of Blue Belt (8hrs) training for 11
individuals to champion CI projects. Besides, organized "Train the
Trainer" training session for selected individuals from 6 sites in
order to make all Sites self sustain on existing Lean Six Sigma
training programs and reduce cost of training in the N.A. region.
Almost 1% of projected savings were distributed project teams and
special trophies are given for recognition.

Mapping. Adopted pick-by-order vs. batch-picking in order picking and
processing for the biggest client in Raleigh. 2M units/month capacity
increased to 8M+units/month, which were tested with over $200K/year
less direct labor cost.
. Lead Time Reduction - Established one-piece-flow in Reverse Logistics
process of biggest client in Raleigh and reduced lead time of an
average return from 3months+ to less than a week implementing lean
tools and saved over $400K in direct labor cost.
. 5S Implementation - Pioneered in 5S efforts for Raleigh site as
selected project manager and scored 100%, which was the only site
with full score among all global 22 sites.
. Process Enhancement - Mapped all operational processes of biggest
client to streamline activities to reduce lead time and labor cost by
eliminating waste in the process, which saved $648K annually. Also,
increased inventory accuracy in Raleigh site by 46%.
. Kaizen Initiatives - Played key role as project leader, coaching and
training team members within CI projects in all North American sites
and pioneered single piece flow.
. Cost Savings - Lead and facilitate 20+ Continuous Improvement
projects including Kaizen events throughout the region that had
projected annual savings of >$5M by automation, process improvement,
layout changes and optimization of resources.
. Pricing - Established activity based pricing for the biggest client
in Raleigh site not only to define cost drives but also to increase
customer satisfaction. Besides, provided cost, P&L, bridging and
automation feasibility analysis for existing and potential clients.

Responsibility: Responsible for daily Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering
activities including detailed analysis such as time studies, productivity
improvement, pricing and performance KPI metrics to support all
departmental and organizational goals and objectives
Accomplishments: Participated and coordinated on-boarding some of
operational processes (returns and re-flash) of a new client ($17M revenue)
to have seamless transition and improved flow with reduced cost (18%) and
lesser required SQFT (63%). Also, lead transitioning (seamlessly) a new
client's ($2M revenue) operations by improving entire process from layout
(reduced by 89%) to process flow (37% lower labor cost) and transactional
processes including modifications on SAP. And, increased line efficiencies
by 15% changing preparation setup and layout with training line-leads on
line balancing and assembly line standards and save over $915K/year.
Industrial Extension Services, Raleigh, NC, USA -Consultant (September,
2003 - October, 2004)
Responsibility: Layout improvement, lead time reduction and productivity
increase to meet goals and objectives within give time frame.
Accomplishments: Conclude 6 projects saving +$2M/year (Reeves Bros,
Gulistan Carpet, Tyco Electronics, Revlon, Pergo and BC&BS).
BOSSA T.A.S., Adana, TURKEY - Industrial Engineer (April, 1997 - July,
1998)
Responsibility: Managed cost saving projects and performed daily Industrial
Engineering activities in a textile mill.
Accomplishments: Enhanced process by streamlining and improving operations,
which resulted 15% increase in productivity ($230K/year savings) of
twisting department by doing time studies and method analysis. Also,
reduced setup times by 10% in weaving department applying simulation
techniques and method analysis as well as changing team structures, which
resulted $126K per year

(January, 1995 - May, 1996)
Responsibility: Planned, supervised and assisted managing assembly of
integrated textiles manufacturing facility. Also, Managed Material
