Responsible for all of the E-filing for the IV-D court. Desk is the starting point for all cases filed

by the Attorney General's office. Received paperwork from all five Attorney General's offices in

Dallas County. Cases are electronically filed after judgment motions which create a file on in

system. Verify paperwork received to ensure everything that was filed. Assign case numbers to

all new cases and make the jackets/docket sheets. Receive a very high volume of work, sort

work based on priority. While processing work verify that the case number and parties match

also verify that all paperwork that is needed is in the packet. Process all e-filed citations and send

them out to the different precincts. Work closely with the Attorney General’s office and our

Held multiple positions throughout five years at the Sheriff's office. The main priority was

always security. Responsible for keeping logs of all the inmates locations. Wrote daily reports of

everything that took place on the floor assigned. Any time an incident occurred (fight, medical

emergency) responsible for writing a detailed report of what happened. Worked at the booking

desk. Job was considered very important, because it was the starting point for the inmates and the

ending point. Responsible for data entry of all the inmates information (address, phone number,

what they were charged with) and inventory all of their property. Also in charge of fingerprinting

and taking the inmates pictures. Also assisted with releasing of the inmates. Receive paperwork

from the court stating to release the inmate, or the inmate would post bond for release. Position

was detailed oriented, a lot of writing and data entry.

register. Worked with attorneys, judges and the public. The attorneys would file new cases and

pleadings in existing cases. Would open the case and collect the money for the case fees. The

judges would occasionally come in and need to see a file for their docket. Assisted the public

with getting a marriage license, birth certificate, death certificate, or if needed to have anything

recorded with the court. Data entry of all information needed for a marriage license and take

waivers to waive the waiting period for getting married. In charge of doing all the filing and any

errands that had to be run.
