Regular three-week freelance assignments on the International
Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) interpreting for and accompanying
top-level guests of the government on U.S. tours.
I mostly do consecutive interpreting assignments but in July 2012
did simultaneous interpreting for five Algerian artists/promoters of
the arts. Other recent visitors include a French City Councilor; a
French prosecutor; a Belgian advisor to the Minister of the
Interior; sub-Saharan groups: activists supporting victims of gender-
based violence, water resource management experts, African women
entrepreneurs (AWEP); the spokesman for the President of Guinea, a
well-known French TV journalist, a French member of the CSA
(equivalent to the FCC), and others. Previously, led 27 month-long
tours with other distinguished visitors: French, African deputies,
engineers, journalists, scientists, business people, musicians,
administrators, artists, etc.
