Personal Statement
I am a dedicated, self-sufficient, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven professional. I possess the
ability to prioritize, plan, execute tasks, and troubleshoot problems effectively to achieve set goals in time-
driven environments with a positive attitude. Although I can work individually without supervision, I am also
highly team-spirited with proven success in interfacing with both clients and co-workers. My skills include
excellent verbal and written communication, competency with data management, planning and scheduling,
presentations, research, finance, and Microsoft Office. I am also currently enrolled in Primavera P6 training
program.
Work Experience
Self Employed – General Contractor April 2012 – February 2013
Client: Lobutcha Creek Farms, LLC. Louisville, MS
• Secured another contract with this repeat client proving a history of quality work and products.
Completed work on time and under budget.
• Construction work done: built-in cabinets, specialty crown moldings, three piece base, interior door
frames, fireplace enclosure, tile installation, attic access additions, painting, and additional general
repairs/changes.
Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR, Inc.) – Training Coordinator June 2009 – April 2012
Client: Mississippi Power Meridian, MS (June 2011-April 2012)
• Trained and supervised two employees who reported to me.
• Executed a Department of Labor approved apprenticeship program.
• Studied the Federal Standards/Policies and the new registration system involved with the program.
• Involved with development of company documents for the apprenticeship program.
• Logged new apprentices into an online database and recorded their training milestones.
• Setup an online testing center on-site for employees participating in computer-based testing.
• Held weekly meetings to update corporate management on status of projects and compliance with
United States Dept. of Labor (USDOL) policies and procedures.
• Generated spreadsheets to analyze goal progress, monitor supplies and materials, and record training
completions.
• Developed a filing system in accordance with KBR standards for site training documents.
• Wrote proposals to the corporate office which resulted in adoption of new practices.
• Worked with minimal supervision; (Although this was one of the most important projects for KBR, my
manager from the corporate office visited the site 6 times).

• Managed site craft training program and coordinated safety classes and workshops
• Kept personnel up to date on certifications for rigging, signal person, forklift and man lift operations
• Monitored manpower forecasts to maintain proper inventory levels across all craft departments.

Client: ADA Environmental Solutions Armistead, LA (June 2009- July 2010)
• Administered a mandated craft certification pilot program for all Journey-level employees.
• Managed an on-site knowledge center for all craft personnel that housed a $60,000+ library.
• Maintained compliance with all policies and procedures set for project site.

• Responsible for procurement actions for all projects including redesigning, renovating and
constructing multiple additions valued at $150,000.
• Executed all purchase and change orders and responded to requests in a timely manner.
• Construction work completed: sheetrock, flooring, window installations, porch and deck additions,
exterior siding, structural framework repairs, lighting and fixtures, electrical re-wiring, kitchen cabinet
installation, custom entertainment center and shower enclosure.
Simpson Enterprise – Property Manager / General Contractor May 2007- October 2008
Client: Randy Simpson, Owner Monroeville, AL
• Managed real property contract negotiations and contingencies.
• Coordinated property maintenance and repairs for multiple rental property locations.
