November 2008-Present:

November 2008-November 2009, RTR/SRMD/Engineering Support Unit
W orked as Area 3 and 4 maintenance engineer (J64, J72, J78 & J58 Plants) in RT South Refinery
Maintenance Engineering Support Division. Position included, but was not limited to:
Performing daily OME meetings to plan and schedule maintenance requirements and establish
weekly priorities for maintenance work. Review, monitor and evaluate completeness of current
work progress, KPI, material/labor requirements, estimates cost adequacy for current work in
progress and initiate request for additional funds for indicated overruns with proper justifications
through SAP workflow. Preparing reports in form s of MOM.
Preparing DCPR (Direct Charge Purchase Request) based on a vailable drawings and
specification sheets in close cooperation with planners for the equipment that has been
determined/recommended to be replaced due to unreliability or long lead/lack of spare parts.
Close follow up on execution of in-house prepared designed packages that were developed by
Engineering Department to improve Plant performance or eliminate deficiencies. Participation in
MOC meetings by OME team to discuss if design package changes will contribute in Plant
performance in cost effective way and will be in compliance of Saudi Aramco standards and GI`s .
Preparing MTO, required labor, time schedule for job to be executed and on -site verification on job
progress. Preparing Job Completion Report analyzing actual vs. estimated costs, material
availability, targeted vs. actual work progress, areas of improvement and lessons learned.
Preparing as-build drawings and submittal to CAD group for the update.
Participating in pre-T&I ( pre-shutdown) activities in regards of preparing T&I scope of work for all
the equipment that needs to be replaced or repaired based on Inspection, Engineering or
Operation reports and recommendations. Preparing purchase specification for the equipment that
needs to be purchased and close follow up to be delivered on time for T&I. Preparing SFC/MFC
(Short/Mid Form Contracts) for the work to be performed by contractor on equipment in the area of
responsibility.
Participating in JSA and HAZOP teams to anticipate and asses all the risks related to each work
and measures to prevent it. Daily follow up on shutdown activities and execution schedule in the
area of responsibility. Assisting contractors with required material requisition and documentation.
Preparing daily shutdown progress report with proposed area for improvements.
November 2009-January 2012, RTR/RESD/Technical Support Unit
Transferred to Refinery Engineering Support Division, Technical Support Unit in Stationary/Fixed
equipment group by supporting fixed equipment related to RTR South Refinery (J64, J80, J06,
J85, J72, and J78 Plants). Position included, but was not limited to the following:
Preparing engineering design packages for refinery Plant fixed equipment including piping, pipe
supports, tanks and pressure vessels in accordance with latest Saudi Aramco and industry
standards. Design package include preparing and defining scope of work in step-by-step basis,
material take off list (MTO), appropriate drawings/sketches/ISO, related red-lined P&ID`s, welding
procedures standard (WPS), standards and other related documents. Organizing and leading
MOC meetings with OME team prior to design package development to discuss and justify
change to be made based on operation requirements, cost effectiveness, benefits, reliability and
improved performance.
Participating South Refinery OME meetings on weekly basis to discuss coordinate and resolve
equipment deficiencies and areas of improvement acting as technical consultant when required.
Daily monitoring and analysis of plants fixed equipment performance, process efficiency, reliability
and mechanical condition based on record data base, T&I reports, risk assessment, design review
and other disciplines reports providing overall facilities engineering leadership and technical
support.
E-reviewing of 30%, 60% and 90% completion for future BI-19 design projects initiated by Projects
Unit in area of expertise adding comments in regards of standards to be applied or drawings to be
corrected or added. Follow up these projects and changes to be made until project is completed
and issued for construction (IFC).

Providing technical support to other refinery departments including Maintenance, Inspection,
Projects Unit, Rotating Equipment and Operation Department in regards of interpreting and
implementing current Saudi Aramco, ASME, API, ASTM and NACE standards. Providing
equipment data sheets, technical drawings, standards or other documents as per request.
Providing full technical support during in-house engineering design packages material
procurement phase, construction phase and installation activities to ensure compliance with
design package specifications and issued documents and attached procedures. Assisting during
T&I activities to all parties involved in shutdown activities.
Preparing Technical Exchange Meetings and Technical Presentations to share the knowledge and
lessons learned with other RTR Departments.
January 2012-Present, RTR/RESD/Projects Unit/Construction Group
Due to manpower requirements transferred to Refinery Engineering Support Division, Projects
Unit, Construction Group. RTR Projects Unit is handling all BI-19 RTR Capital Projects from
inception phase up to the commissioning and final completion, that have total cost ranging from
$20,000 up to $4Million. Projects Construction Engineer scope of work includes following
activities:
Handling all BI-19 IFC (Issued for Construction) projects from procurement to commissioning
phase. Projects include various disciplines such as instrument, digital, electrical, analyzer or
mechanical equipment related Projects. Close follow up with Construction Group Planner is
needed in procurement phase to assure required equipment is in compliance with technical
specification in the Project, assure that value of the equipment does not exceed allocated fund for
the Project and that fund has enough space to allocate required man -hour for the installation,
assure that delivery date does not exceed Projects ERC (Expenditure Request Completion).
Clarifying any discrepancies with vendors, providing them with required information, drawings,
specification sheets, field verification of equipment to be purchased /replaced, conducting kick-off
meetings with OME team, vendors and other technical disciplines with in RTR to resolve ongoing
problems. Issuing MOM to document any changes that deviates from original IFC Project Design.
Preparing and planning of SFC/MFC (Short/Mid Form Contracts) for Projects execution phase to
comply with purchased equipment delivery date, within allocated budget and dedicated ERC.
Preparing Cost Estimate report if less than three bidders apply or Single Source Justification in
case of single bidder. Conducting Job Explanation Meeting (JobEx) with all the bidders and site
visit prior to contractors submitting their bids. Participating and witnessing bid opening and
awarding Contractor for specific job.
Daily follow up with awarded contractor activities on a Project as per execution schedule assuring
he has all required documentation and material/tools related to the Project, assuring contractor
has submitted HIP (Hazard Identification Plan) and that he is aware of overall job related hazards,
conducting JSA (Job Safety Analysis) with all related parties if it is required for specific job.
Making sure that overall work performed by a contractor is done in safe, effective and timely
manner.
Preparing MCC (Mechanical Completion Certificate) upon Project completion and prior to start-up
and commissioning of installed equipment. Routing MCC for review and approval to all parties
related to the Project i.e. proponent, inspection, operation, maintenance. Preparing PAC
(Performance Acceptance Certificate) three months after equipment is in service and closing
current Project within SAP system, including budgetary spare parts list cataloging in SAP system.
Preparing Projects Execution Reports with highlights on lessons learned and knowledge sharing
with other technical personnel in order to improve future performance. Preparing status report on
all opened BI-19 Projects on monthly basis that are shared with RTR Management through
Management Information System.

Current Position: Senior Engineer in group of Steel Structures and Stationery Equipment,
Piping, Spring Hangers, Safety Valves, Gate Valves, Slide Valves, Loading Arms, Jetties.
Visual inspection of thermal, process and piping equipment and proposing solutions for its
repair.
Designing documentations for production, repair and reconstruction including mechanical
calculations, drawings and issuing of design package documentation.
Analyses of state of equipment through results of examinations, frequencies of previous repairs
and results of Non Destructive and other testing.
Preparation of technical documentation and checking spare parts stat us on Refinery stocks.
Preparation of technical specification sheets (ITT) and drawings for acquisition and purchasing
of new spare parts, planning to replace defective parts .
Technical evaluation of incoming bids and making decision which one is most suitable
according to cost-benefit factor.
Daily use of AVIZO, a company CMMS software package dealing with work orders, scheduling
jobs, assigning personnel, reserving materials, recording costs, and tracking relevant
information such as the cause of the problem (if any), downtime involved (if any), and
recommendations for future action, calculating the cost of maintenance for each pi ece of
equipment used by the company.
Participation in the pre-engineering and planning of major overhauls. This includes highlighting
specific items of equipment which require major overhaul maintenance, assessing resources,
material and logistic requirements.
Supervising overhaul maintenance, providing t echnical advice on work methods and on the
repair or replacement of defective parts. Providing expertise and support during the start -up of
equipment with replaced defective parts.
Participation in controlling new build-in equipment of other subcontracting companies, reviewing
and approving vendor drawings and projects.
Checking and approving technical documentation designed in Oil Refinery Pancevo and other
subcontract Project Companies.
Dealing with emergency requests immediately, providing technical advice, coordinating with
other technical Departments. Planning and supervising the execution of the daily work
requirements for the mechanical maintenance program .
Reviewing, checking and complying daily reports prepared by contractors and assigned
engineers on concerned work progress. Preparing the report on work progress, manpower and
equipment for m y Supervisors.
Adjusting original technical documentation of Technology Supplier ( FOSTER W HEELER-UK,
LUMMUS-France, I.C.P.R.-Romania, etc) with current International standards.
Cooperating with SHELL engineers about tasks regarding their advices on the reduction in
