Reduced and controlled employee expenses from 2010 through 2012 by reducing unnecessary overtime expenses per employee.
This was accomplished by monitoring daily time sheets and sending them home once their daily hrs were met, and moving another employees available hours to cover hours leftover and in extreme circumstances, I came in and covered needed hours on Saturdays so that no employee was over their allotted 40 hours per week. This resulted in a savings of about $6000 a month.
Also reduced expenses by managing store inventory and returning older slow moving product to the distributors on a regular basis. During the time I did this it resulted in approximately 20 percentage decrease in slow moving product in the warehouse.
Appointed Regional safety captain for the area and implemented corporate safety program for the area stores from 2010 to 2012 which resulted in 0 percentage injuries for those 2 years,
