OBJECTIVE:
Become part of a team where I can share and apply my knowledge and experiences as a Spanish Language Instructor / Teacher overseeing and performing multiple Spanish language education tasks, researching and responding to language programs and assigned duties, as well as planning / supporting educational and language instructional programs. WORK HISTORY/ EXPERIENCES:
Presently performing duties as a bilingual airport customer services agent. Assisting clients and conducting interpersonal relations among co-workers and superiors, including decision making strategies which entails service skills in respond to clients demands and requests. Such skills have been enforced and applied thought my career as an educational language instructor. Also performed duties as ESOL classroom instructor as well as language interpretations from Spanish into English and vice versa. Have rendered services as administrator for a small family own agency; conducting free lance language interpretation services undergoing duties for the American Immigration and Naturalization Agency. Have organized incoming language interpretation and related duties. In charged of general services and company projects, have worked at language centers servicing foreign students, who have been accepted to continue their studies in the U.S., reviewing, selecting, translating their acquired foreign transcripts from native South American countries; necessary to be presented at the Miami Dade Community College, working in conjunction with the International students Department.
Conducted temporary services at the University of Miami: as a Ticket Office as a Coordinator –at the School of Music / duties included responsibility of creating, printing and distributing all tickets for artist performances and presentations at the Theater as well as sales coordination. Assigned to appropriate departments at the University for processing and handling of Festival Miami in 2007.
2004-2006; Accurate Interpreting Services, Special subcontract assignment. Monitoring and
Interpreting telephone conversations and call working along with law enforcement agents,
while they conduct, delicate technical investigation. Position assigned in Atlanta Georgia.
Diversified Investment Advisors, administrative assistant for Latin American Division
providing excellent customer services at this insurance institution with headquarters in Dallas, Texas. In charged of dealing directly with agents overseas and locally obtaining all documentation, processing
large amount of income, payments, checks etc.
2001-2003; English Instructor for the Accent on Language international students program rendering instructions and teaching English Language Grammar at Saint Thomas University. Private Spanish Language Instructor at in lingua Language Center – Freelance Spanish/ English monitor translator for Diplomatic Language Centers, undergoing and obtaining a 10 years background government clearance.
1998-2000; Bilingual Spanish English Instructor and High School Coordinator at Technical Career Institute, In charged of coordinating/ preparing and performing classroom presentations at several local High Schools,
introducing and recruiting students for enrollment at the institute.
Also worked in the capacity of English as a second Language Instructor.
1996-1998; Founder Director for Bilingual Education Center located overseas [Boquete city, Panama]
Central America, responsible for creating curriculum, conducting interviews and coordinating language projects for the entire school program.
