International Logistician/Inventory Control Specialist
International Logistician for multiple International projects: Worked in Kabul, Afghanistan July 2006 through July 2007 in support of the US Army for the Afghanistan National Police and the Border Patrol projects. Duties and responsibilities included: managing technician’s schedules, personnel accountability, track and manage all program assets since program’s inception, maintain records for over $100 million worth of equipment, fielding schedules and submitting weekly reports to the Government Task Leader, Program Manager and Corporate Management. Provide updates and status of purchase orders, requisitions and fielding reports on weekly conference calls with higher management. Responsible for coordinating shipments, loading and unloading equipment, tracking and annotating equipment destinations, forecasting equipment versus project requirements, processing and filing of hand receipts and DD250’s per invoice/purchase order. Provide logistics support for various programs to include DRS’s company assets. Inventory and maintain warehouse locations and serialized accountability of all inventory while utilizing the FIFO method.
