Projects Undertaken
Channel Management for a Base Station
Implement Call processing functionality at the base station which
involves paging the phone, allocating the Resources, bringing the
phone to traffic etc. The code is written in C for the embedded
real -time operating system.
Release Engineering
Merge files from bug-fix branch to the main release branch and
create a build with the merged files, Resolve merge conflicts,
Update DDTS records, label files, troubleshoot and resolve any
build problems. Job requires knowledge of the Clearcase/DDTS
tools.
Field Support
Support all the BTS issues in the field operations. Collect and
analyze log data to determine the cause of failure.
Test Result Database
Design and implement the database to store all the testcase
results for subsystem testing. CGI/perl interface to retreive the
results from the Oracle database.
IP Servers
Implement IP servers for the base station - Rlogin Daemon, Ftp
Daemon etc.
Network Management for the HA feature of HLR
Network Mangement helps in bringing up the 2 HLR units, swapping
the active and standby unit, shutdown the unit(s) for maintenance.
The code was written in C/C++ on Solaris.
Interface for LicenseTrack
HTML-based user Interface to manage various features of this
product.
Persistent library for LicenseServ
Persistence library in the license server is used for making a
file secure. This feature was used for server and trial licensing.
I was actively involved in designing the multiple license servers
for redundancy to prevent data loss. It was implemented using C on
Solaris.
Interface for LicenseTrack
Web-based user interface to manage the various features of this
product. It was implemented using C on Solaris.
Data transfer between two terminals
File transfer and communication software for PC's based on RS-232
protocol.
Mechanics problem solver
Mechanics problem solver for the undergraduate degree project.
Code was written in C.
Grammar Analyzer using Neural Networks
KBCNN algorithm to implement a Hindi grammar analyzer. Code was
written in C.
